Mr. Manoj Gupta, Partner Designate at L.S Davar & Co. having over 12 years of experience in the IPR domain, specializing in Trade Marks, Copyrights & Designs. Mr. Gupta holds a B.A. LL.B (Honours) Degree from the Department of Law, Calcutta University. Mostly, his practice focuses on Trade Mark and Design Laws and renders specialized opinions to Indian and foreign clients, conducting trademark clearance searches, tackling infringement and providing clearance opinions, brand protection across industries, adoption of trademarks and prosecution. In addition, he leads the Industrial Designs practice at L.S. Davar & Co – representing clients from a range of industries including the automotive, engineering, fashion and medical sectors. He advises clients, which also includes Fortune 500 companies, on IP strategy, Portfolio Management, and preparing IP Contracts including licensing, franchising, assignment, strategizing and due diligence. Clients benefit from his skill and experience in resolving complex issues, wadding through negotiations and for harmonious settlements of disputes and infringements. He regularly appears before various Hon’ble High Courts and Hon’ble District Courts including Trade Marks Registry and Design Office. He has represented the Firm at several conferences, domestically and internationally, including the INTA, ECTA and Marques Annual Meetings.
